You are community-spirited and keen to contribute to HikeWest’s mission of encouraging and supporting healthy, active lifestyles and environmental appreciation through hiking in Western Australia? You also have the experience, skills and commitment to serve on a not-for-profit Board, and to help steer HikeWest’s continuing impact and growth; shaping the future of hiking in the State:
- Support the President and other Board members in the planning, and successful pursuit of HikeWest’s strategic priorities.
- Contribute to good Board governance of the organisation.
- Undertake assigned tasks relevant to the Board’s work.
- Attend and actively contribute in Board meetings.
This opportunity is for a voluntary Appointed Director position. The HikeWest Board appoints two Directors annually. An appointed Director has the same rights and privileges as the five elected Directors on the seven-person Board and is eligible for re-appointment annually after an initial 12-month term.
